Next month’s demonstration will be turning a different style of Christmas ornament. Each ornament incorporates four miniature picture frames, as shown below on the left below.

These ornaments can be used to highlight and preserve the most significant moments in a person’s, or family’s year.

While there are several styles possible, the one we’ll be showing is shown on the right below.

I have made a deal with Klockit to purchase in bulk. So far, we almost have enough orders to qualify. Each picture frame, if pre-ordered, will cost you $2.25 total. (If ordered directly from Klockit, four would cost you a bit over $13, or about $3.25 per frame.)

If there are any left over, they’ll go for $2.50 each. So if you’re thinking of making any of these, order them this week and save yourself a buck on each ornament.

Each ornament will require a length of 2” (minimum) stock, 4 picture frame inserts, and some means to hang the finished ornament.

I’ll be ordering this Friday, so let me know before then. You can email me at tpurhrt@earthlink.net (please put ‘Frame Order’ in the subject line), or call 452-2036. I’ll need your name (of course), how many frames you want, and your phone number should you want a call when they come in. This is in case you want to start early and are willing to pick them up in Merritt Island. Otherwise, I’ll have them for pick up at the next regular meeting on November 9th.

I’ll be putting the basic instructions on the club’s web site early next week.
