Monkey Puzzle
Does anyone want some Monkey Puzzle logs? I have a tree man taking down a tree soon. Let me know how many logs you want and I'll try to have them delivered to my house. I can let you know when to pick them up. I haven't turned this wood before. Can anyone advise the characteristics of drying, turning and finishing Monkey Puzzle? Allen

Monkey Puzzle
It is similar to Nova Scotia Pine. It is originally from Chilie but is now an ornimental around the world. It has prickly bark and leaves giving it it's name because it would be a puzzle to a monkey figuring out how to climb it. Google "Monkey Puzzle Bowls" and you will see some beautiful work. You can turn it green or dry.
